A walk through the countryside enabling you to learn about history in Frise
If you love going for walks in the open air then I strongly recommend the one-hour “Montagne de Frise” outing. You’ll be able to see the trenches, examine shell holes in an area dominated today by sheep and marvel at the outstanding panoramic view of the lakes and marshes of the "Haute Vallée de la Somme". “Belvédère de Frise” is a viewpoint overlooking the whole valley, allowing walkers to admire the river and gain a real insight into the history of the First World War. Don’t forget your camera whatever you do. That way, you won’t go home disappointed!
