Auberge du Jeu de Paume, Chantilly

The stunning location of the Auberge du Jeu de Paume's La Table du Connétable, with its vast windows opening onto the lawns and gardens of the gorgeous Château de Chantilly, is rivalled only by its gourmet cuisine.
Presided over by Michelin-starred chef Clément Leroy since mid 2016, the restaurant offers an incredible fusion of the traditional and the innovative in its modern French dishes, all of which are based on the finest seasonal ingredients.
Born in the Drôme in south-eastern France, Leroy – whose father was a charcutier-caterer – grew up on the land, hunting, gathering and fishing.  Most of his career prior to his arrival at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume was spent rising through the ranks with superstar Parisian chef Guy Savoy.
La Table du Connétable’s three-, four- or seven-course tasting menus invite you to sit back and relax over a selection of Leroy’s signature dishes, paired by wines that have been carefully selected by the in-house sommelier.  Think the likes of beef cooked “as my father loved it”, with caviar and sea potato; venison matured with whisky, served with iodised Béarnaise sauce; and roasted fig with hibiscus and buttermilk.
