Because you probably don’t plan your trip the way you did it yesterday, we have prepared this Q&A section. We update it regularly in accordance with national health & sanitary regulations. Latest France travel advice can be found on this website
Which sanitary measures are in place in France to secure visitors’ safety?
Accommodation providers displayed on this website committed to comply with French health & sanitary regulations in order to guarantee visitors’ safety as well as theirs. Main Covid-19 measures in France include physical distance of at least 2 meters, washing hands regularly or alternatively using hydro-alcoholic gel which is on display in most places. Wearing a mask is compulsory in certain public places.
Following French government’s latest regulations, a valid health pass* is mandatory for all customers above 12 years old when accessing different areas (accommodations, restaurants, bars, cinemas, museums, zoo, theme parks,…)
* A certificate proving that you are fully vaccinated (with both jabs) or a negative test (RT-PCR or antigen) less than 24 hours old, or a positive RT-PCR test attesting that you’ve recovered from Covid that must be at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old. This certificate will be scanned upon your arrival.
Fully vaccinated travelers coming to France from outside the European Union will need to show proof of vaccination at the border along with a negative PCR test result less than 48 hours old.
We strongly advise you to download French government’s TousAntiCovid App on which you’ll be able to scan your NHS QR code. The app will then generate a EU “health pass” or “Pass sanitaire” that you can show in restaurants, bars and all the areas where it is mandatory. All the info can be found on the Consulate General of France in Londons's website.
