Dig a temporary hide into mudflats of the Somme estuary, allowing spectacular close up photography of a range of waders.
The Somme Bay is one of Frances most important birdwatching destinations, with many species not seen in the UK.
Jean-Michel is also a wood carver, and creates spectacular sculptures of the local birdlife. He used his work to create decoys, encouraging birds to feel safe to land close to where he is hidden allowing close ups like never before.

Option : Complete the experience by staying in the B&B on Jean-Michel’s property, which has been completely designed to attract birdlife (with hides!). Great-Spotted Woodpecker is often seen, as well as Kingfisher, Little Egret and many other species (over 80 species to be exact). €59 per night for Solo travellers and €69 per night for two incl breakfast.
