When I conceived this house in my mind, I drew on the nostalgia of my childhood, remembering my own grandfather’s house where I spent the happy holidays of my youth. I particularly remember the joy of getting out of the pool and warming up by the fire and used memories like this to inspire the ethos of the villa.
