Calais Christmas market
In Calais, a genuine traditional Christmas market will be taking over the square in front of the magnificent Baroque-style Theatre. From gingerbread and roasted chestnuts to Christmas decorations and handmade items by talented artists, there will be nearly 40 chalets so you can be sure to find the gift that will please your loved ones. A merry-go-round, a sweets stand and... Santa's Chalet will round off the festivities.
Don't miss it! The Compagnie du Dragon ends the season with a festive flourish!
The 25-meter-long mechanical Dragon de Calais takes you into the warmth of winter, and the whole company gets into the festive spirit. Dragon journeys, a winter menu in the restaurant and family entertainment in the shop.
Stroll along the forecourt of the Cité du Dragon and let the scent of hot chestnuts waft through the Nave of the Calais Dragon. The mood is one of strolling and sharing as a family. Travel from event to event, attend evening concerts and indulge in our homemade waffles... As for the Calais Dragon, it will be offering its traditional tours on the sea front. www.compagniedudragon.com
