- French Christmas Market in Calais 11th - 19th december 2021
The town’s gone all out festive with a massive programme of events to tempt you to come, visit and enjoy its warm and welcoming hospitality.
Calais Christmas market
The market coincides with Calais’ Christmas parade, when a festive train will lead a procession of floats peopled by dancers, acrobats, elves, snowmen and animated toys through the town’s gorgeously illuminated streets.
Other unmissable festival attractions are the Magical Forest by the Town Hall, with a nativity crèche and kids’ costumes for festive selfies, and the World of Toys with its indoor ice-skating rink, 1900s double-decker carousel and Santa’s grotto. Late opening hours and special offers in December, as well as gospel and carol concerts, complete Calais’ fabulous Christmas offerings.
